Q: Tell us a little about yourself! What is the inspiration behind your Instagram page?

Raising Little Dinosaurs was started in September 2020 as a way for me to search for inspiration for fun baby/toddler activities to keep us busy during the beginning of the pandemic. After posting a few of our own activities, I enjoyed getting feedback and encouragement from other moms. I eventually formed connections from this online community. It’s been great to have online friendships, to have a space to share our activities, and to get inspiration from others.

Q: We have loved seeing your page grow, and all the fun and amazing projects and activities you share, and we learn so much as you incorporate fun and learning while at home! What inspired you to want to be a Brand Ambassador?

We love all of The Pencil Group’s products. My boys love doing arts and crafts daily, and products like Kwik Stix and Magic Stix are a staple at our art table. The boys love creating with them, and I love that they’re washable!

Q: What is your favorite product of ours that you have tried so far?  Can you tell us more about why you love this product, and if you have any tips or tricks when using it or favorite techniques? Is there anything in particular that has helped you blend creativity, play, and learning together and any advice you can provide to others?

My favorite product is Kwik Stix. These paint sticks are amazing especially when you need something that’s not messy, that’s fun for kids, easy enough for a toddler to use, and they dry quickly and are washable. It doesn’t get any better than that! These are especially perfect this time of year for painting pumpkins!

Q: We love that you incorporate amazing videos of your crafts and learning activities on your page! What is one of your favorite projects you have created using our products? There have been so many great videos and posts you have made, and we want to know which stands out to you!

One of my favorites was a “feed Santa and his reindeer” activity during Christmastime. I used Wonder Stix to draw Santa and a reindeer on a lid, then my boys took turns pretending to feed them carrots and cookies. Post is linked here!

Q: What’s next for you? Do you have any exciting crafts or learning activities in mind for the back to school season?

My oldest son starts kindergarten this month, and I’m excited for everything new that comes along with this age. I’m homeschooling him along with my toddler, and we have lots of fun activities planned for the fall - including sensory play, art projects, activities focusing on the alphabet/phonetics and numbers/math, and lots of nature activities as fall weather begins!
